Realtor Assistant/Legal Secretary/Web 2.0 Guru/Business Development Ex (BRICKELL)

I am a real estate broker and lawyer planning to launch a company soon. Before I launch, I need a person who can help me manage my web presence, integrate the cloud computing software support necessary to run the businesses (e.g., MLX and practice management software), perform some marketing support, manipulate a data base, and conduct some general secretarial functions to support the law office. I don’t suspect one person will have all of the qualifications I seek, but if the person is a good fit, I am willing to train. The position will be task based and oriented, with the potential for permanent, full-time, and management opportunities as the company grows.
<br>
This is probably a good opportunity as supplemental income for a Realtor who is experiencing a bit of a slow down in their business but who still has clients to manage and is looking for a better split, or a student looking for part-time work in a professional environment. I am an Equal Opportunity Employer.
<br>

<br>
Duties and Responsibilities:
<br>
Provide marketing support to help grow the law firm and the real estate brokerage (the “Integrated Companies”);
<br>
Assist with the management of the Integrated Companies and their clients;
<br>
Assist with administrative tasks associated with the start-up of the Integrated Companies;
<br>
Help coordinate, recruit, and supervise staff of the Integrated Companies;
<br>
Commit to develop, grow, and enhance your own real estate client base and knowledge;
<br>
Positively contribute towards the general health and well-being of the Integrated Companies.
<br>
Qualifications and Major Attributes
<br>
– Available to work 20 to 30 hours per week, minimum 2 hours per day;
<br>
Live in and know the Brickell Area;
<br>
Self-starter with a positive attitude;
<br>
Prior Experience in a law firm environment;
<br>
– Facility with Microsoft Office, Adobe Programs; and CRM;
<br>
– Strong written and verbal skills;
<br>
– Have a creative background with a facility in Web 2.0;
<br>
– Familiarity with Search Engine Optimization;
<br>
– Familiarity with e-Mail Marketing Campaigns;
<br>
– Bilingual in any two of English, Spanish, Portuguese.
<br>
Compensation
<br>
– I will let you host your real estate license with me and give you a 95/5 split on all of your transactions (including rentals);
<br>
– I will pay $10.00 p/h;
<br>
– I will give you access to my Miami Heat tickets when I’m not using them (Section 119, Row 21);
<br>
– I will give you access to the Miami City Club under my account to entertain your own clients.
<br>

<br>
About the Job (in addition to that described above):
<br>
– You can telecommute 50% of the time, minimal office hours are required;
<br>
– You can work part-time (in addition to your regular employment), but we will set deadlines and deliverables which I expect you to meet;
<br>
– We will sign a contract with you as an independent contractor and as an agent in my brokerage;
<br>
– So long as your license is hung with me, you will be on-call for web work and real estate assignments, and be expected to respond within 24 hours;
<br>
– You will be expected to stay current and be able to get “up to speed” very quickly on web and software developments that impact the businesses;
<br>
– You will need to provide me with samples and references;
<br>

<br>
About You: You are a conscientious person who sets high standards and lives up to them. You know what it is like to respond to deadlines. You know what it means to be part of a Team. I don’t care who you are, what you look like, where you come from, what your education level is, or what your family connections are. All I care about is your ability to do your job in support of a Team. Before sending your resume, be sure to proofread it first. How you present your resume tells me how you will do your work and represent the Integrated Companies.
<br>

<br>
About Me: I am a real estate broker and a lawyer. I believe in Teams. I believe in people fulfilling their roles on a Team. I believe in rewarding top performers. I believe in “benefits” associated with the job. I don’t believe in dead-weight. I don’t support people who undermine the Team. If you steal from me, or another Team member I will prosecute you to the full extent of the law. I play to win, I play for keeps. I am easy going, but I am a Matador.
<br>

<br>
Ideally the person will start on either April 26th, 2010 or May 3rd, 2010, but I will be fielding calls and interviews until I find the right person I am comfortable with to fill this position. Please e-mail me at any time at: work@TheVictoriaLawGroup.com; or call any day of the week at: (305) 515-5599 x 103.
<br>

<br>
You can spend your time playing Mafia Wars on Facebook, or spend it making money for yourself and your loved ones. I look forward to working with a Star.
