Fitness company is seeking a savvy sales/marketing consultant to increase their sales in local neighborhoods of the Metro Boston area. The consultant will be given monthly sales goals – based upon participant sign-ups – for each local neighborhood, and be required to brainstorm and implement a guerilla marketing/sales plan to reach those goals. Sample implementation could be: contacting local apartment complexes, engaging online communities, doing events with young professionals organizations, organizing booths at “girls night out” events, leveraging social media, local press relations, flyering local coffee shops, and overall increasing awareness of the fitness company’s brand on a local/neighborhood level. The consultant must have at least 1 year of sales or marketing experience, have superior project management skills, have proof of increasing sales or reaching company goals in some capacity, and have great communication and people skillls. Looking for someone who is goal-driven and takes initiative.
This is a part-time consulting position.

Technician (Waltham, MA)
RMA Technician
Job Summary
The Technician is responsible for receiving all RMA Hospital Meters. Must possess the ability to recognize and distinguish defective material and re-disposition salvageable material. Must have an understanding of manufacturing processes and requirements, including material disposition and quality concerns.
Specific Duties
The Technician will investigate failure modes of hospital point-of-care glucose monitoring meters, focusing on diagnosis of root cause. The Tech will also investigate electric and mechanical part failures to determine material disposition, and perform follow-up activities. You will assist with recording and trending failure data. You will also perform calibration and maintenance of custom and standard tools on a medical device manufacturing line.
Specific Requirements and Qualifications
Mechanical requirements are: ability to read and understand part and assembly drawings; skilled in electro-mechanical assembly/test; skilled in troubleshooting mechanical assemblies to determine root cause of failures; ability to train others on assembly and troubleshooting processes.
Electrical requirements are: basic ability to read and understand schematics; skilled in soldering; and familiarity with electrical tools and equipment; for example: multi-meters, power supplies, current source, etc.
Working knowledge of MS-Office. CAD or SolidWorks experience. Basic understanding of medical device regulatory requirements. Good communication skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize. Capable to train on assembly and troubleshooting processes.
4 years of experience.
Technical degree preferred.
